Write your own MYP question - How can creativity make our lives more exciting?
Choose your Area of Interaction - Human Ingenuity
Use the entire Design Cycle to create your unit.
Use the entire Design Cycle to create your unit.
Include what you did every day to complete the assignment. I want the date and what you accomplished each day. You need to clean up your mess and type what you accomplished when the 8 minute bell rings.
You will present your project and unit to the class on May 10.
What I did every single day: April 25: We decided what we are going to do as well as our MYP question and area of interaction. April 26: We started working on the design of the Rube Golberg and finished the preparatory work to start the project. April 27: Started working on how we were going to get the water, spices, and ramen in the bowl consecutively. April 30: Started to gather supplies to start the project, got a general idea of how it was going to work with all the pieces. May 1: Started gluing Popsicle sticks to the backboard which started our project. Maid the rails that go on the first track. May 2: Started on the second track that will lead to the water, glued Popsicle rails to the board and made minor tweeks in the design. May 3: Elongated the rails that lead into the mechanism for the ramen. Connected the rungs to the tube which lead into the box with the ramen. May 4: Absent May 7: absent May 8: Started the design for how the mechanism that would drop the big marbles. Created mechanism. May 9: Tested mechanism repeatedly and made changes to the design accordingly. May 10: Made a few more changes to the design and started working on the part that my mechanism would feed into. May 11: Scrambled to finish the part that would hit the water mechanism. Didn't work out too well... May 14: Sort of finished the part that would lead to the water mechanism...
